Event Activities
If you've never participated in a Susan G Komen for the Cure Race/Walk, this will be an event you will NEVER forget. Here is just SOME of what is in store for the Central WI Affiliate's 1st Annual Susan G Komen Race for the Cure...
1. Passionate Pink Pasta Party: August 21 from 4-10pm at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rothschild. Come out to celebrate breast cancer survivorship, register, pick up your race packet or just to have a great time and get pumped for the race!
2. Race Day: August 22. Everything from registration, packet pickup, the survivor tent and all of the national sponsor tent's will be open at 7am.
3. Survivor celebration photo: 8:15am. If you are a breast cancer survivor, come be a part of our first central WI survivor celebration photo!
4. 5K Race/Walk start: 9am on downtown Wausau's 400 block
5. One mile family walk start: 9:15, same place as the 5K Race/Walk start.
6. During the entire event local and nationals race sponsors will be giving away tons of free goodies and everyone will be celebrating breast cancer survivorship on downtown Wausau's 400 block!
7. Come get your free sample of one of a kind hydration drink from the Team Reliv Hydration Station.
