REGISTRATION INFORMATION

1. How can I register for the Race/Walk?

A: There are three ways you can register for the Race/Walk. The quickest way is to register online, right here on the Komen Central WI Web site. You can also register by filling out a paper entry form that can be found at many central WI businesses. Finally, registration will also be available in-person on the following dates:

  1. August 21 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rothschild from 4pm to 10pm during our Passionate Pink Pasta  Party.

  2. August 22 (Race Day) at the 400 block in downtown Wausau from 7am-8:30am.

2. Where can I pick up my race/walk packet?

A. You can pick up race packets on Saturday, August 21 from 4pm to 10pm during the Passionate Pink Pasta Party or on Race Day from 7am to 8:30am at the 400 block in downtown Wausau.

If You Registered for Chip Timing:  In order to have chip timing, you must be registered for the 5K race and pick up your chip from 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., at the ground floor of the Palladium Building, the day of the race.   At the end of the race these timing chips will be retrieved from race personnel at the finish line.  There will be a fee of $75.00 for any lost or non returned chips.

3. Do I have to be a runner to participate in the Race?

A. Absolutely NOT! We do welcome any and all runners interested in putting up their best times. However, we also welcome any and all walkers-and there will be LOTS of them! Remember, this Race/Walk is about celebrating the lives of breast cancer survivors! It is also an event to raise awareness about breast cancer and funding to end the disease FOREVER. Sevent-five percent of all funds raised at this event stay right here in central WI as grant funding to area organizations dedicated to the mission of ending breast cancer forever in our very own community.
