2009 Central Wisconsin Grants
Aspirus Women's Health Grant
Bridging breast education and screening gaps for underserved women in Central Wisconsin. Provides funding for free mammography and breast exams for women who are underinsured or have high deductible insurance plans. The mobile mammography van travels to multiple clinics and sites throughout our seven county area. If an abnormality is found, funding is available to cover costs of biopsy.
Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, Wings Cancer Survivorship program- A Time to Heal Grant
This is a twelve week program to promote recovery from Breast Cancer, concentrating on wholistic techniques and wellness.
Aspirus Womens Health - Travel Scholarship Grant
Covered costs for Aspirus Breast Center mammography technicians and nurses to attend the National Consortum of Breast Centers Conference, to expand their knowledge base of breast diseases and Breast Center quality issues.
Aspirus Regional Cancer Center Grant
This grant helped fund a conference focussing on Breasr Cancer at Aspirus Regional Cancer Center.
